Ian brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in the forestry industry, notably running his own harvesting company for 25 years. His educational foundation comprises 120 forestry and natural resources conservation credits from Paul Smith’s College, SUNY Morrisville, and SUNY ESF. Ian has been working as a NY DEC Cooperating Forester since 2021. As a board member of the Northern Tier Hardwood Association since 2010, Ian remains committed to industry advancement and compliance with the latest standards. He continues to grow his skillset through continuing education courses from the Society of American Foresters. He regularly attends Advanced Logger Rescue, PA and NY Erosion and Sedimentation, and Game of Logging seminars. With a lifelong commitment to both harvesting and forestry, Ian's unique blend of experience and dedication positions him as a uniquely qualified candidate for private forest land management. 

Laura is a recent graduate of Paul Smith's College, holding a bachelor's degree in fisheries and wildlife science with a minor in Geographical Information Systems. Her expertise lies in utilizing her knowledge of wildlife conservation and spatial analysis to craft forest management strategies that harmonize the needs of both the forest and its wildlife inhabitants. Since 2021, Laura has been an active member of the Northern Tier Hardwood Association and achieved associate membership with the Association of Consulting Foresters in 2022. She continues her professional development by participation in continuing education courses offered by the Society of American Foresters, and regularly attends Advanced Logger Rescue, PA Erosion and Sedimentation, and Game of Logging. Although relatively new to the field, Laura has swiftly embraced the challenges posed by private landowners and their forested properties.
